Operation Principle

Drive screw hydraulically balanced and driven screws hydraulically powered normally have no contact with each other under normal operation. Oil film formed between the drive screw and the driven screws protects screw surface wearing, ensuring a long service life of the pump. Be noted that drive screw and driven screws are in critical state and directly contact with each other instantly during pump startup and stop; therefore,strength, surface hardness and processing precision of screws must withstand the critical state. Besides, driven screw bears certain radial force theoretically. Special attention shall be paid to material and working pressure of screw and liner to ensure no damage to oil film between outer circle of driven screws and inner hole of liner, avoiding wearing as a result of metallic contact.
