Operation Principle

Screw pumps are positive displacement pumps mainly consisting of one or multiple screw rotors and a pump body. According to different structures, screw pumps can be divided into single screw pumps, twin screw pumps and triple screw pumps.

During operation, the rotating screws form continuous sealed cavities inside the pump chamber. As the screws rotate, these cavities move continuously along the axial direction, smoothly drawing fluid from the suction port and delivering it steadily to the discharge port. The volumetric pumping principle ensures stable flow, low pulsation and reliable performance.

Single screw pumps transport fluids through the sealing cavities formed between the rotor and stator, suitable for high-viscosity and particle-containing media. Twin screw pumps use two intermeshing screws to provide excellent self-priming capability and high conveying efficiency. Triple screw pumps achieve smooth and quiet operation through the interaction of one driving screw and two driven screws, especially suitable for lubricating fluids.
