Installation of air operated diaphragm pump:
1. The pneumatic diaphragm pump should be installed as close as possible to the drainage so that the suction line is the shortest and the number of configuration parts is reduced, but the pipe specification cannot be reduced.
2. If a hard pipe is installed, use a short hose to connect the pneumatic diaphragm pump and the pipe. The hose can dampen the vibration and twisting of the pipe, and a surge tank is recommended to further reduce the surge in the fluid.
The use of a pneumatic diaphragm pump:
1. Before starting the diaphragm pump, check that the pump body screws and joints cannot be loosened; check that the pump body muffler is installed well; confirm that the air pressure valve is closed and the drainage inlet and outlet are fully open.
2. Slowly open the diaphragm pump air pressure valve to 1/2 position, and start the diaphragm pump.
3. After the diaphragm pump is started, gradually open the large diaphragm pump valve until it is fully opened.
4. If the reciprocating speed of the diaphragm pump is too fast or the noise is too large, the air valve should be closed to achieve the best drainage effect.
5. When the pump needs to be stopped after the drainage is completed, let the pump run for another three to four reciprocations, and then close the air valve after the water is completely discharged from the pump body.
6. After the air valve is closed, the drain outlet valve should also be closed.
7. If you need to stop the pump in case of emergency, you only need to close the air valve of the diaphragm pump, but then drain the residual water in the pump.
Safety Instructions:
1. The compressed air pressure of the diaphragm pump should not exceed 0.7MPa.
2. The largest particle in the fluid does not exceed 10mm.
3. Do not allow the diaphragm pump to run idly for a long time.
4. When the diaphragm of the pump fails, the conveyed material will be ejected from the exhaust muffler, so when the diaphragm of the diaphragm pump is ruptured, it must be disassembled, cleaned, and replaced in time.
5. When the diaphragm pump is started, the air valve should be opened slowly to prevent the equipment from being damaged due to the violent vibration of the diaphragm pump caused by the sudden opening of the air valve.
6. Maintenance under pressure is strictly prohibited when the diaphragm pump is running. If maintenance is required, the air intake of the pump must be cut off first, the bypass pressure relief mechanism must be opened to relieve the pressure of the pipeline system, and then the connected pipeline joints must be slowly loosened. make repairs.
7. Ensure that the pumped piping system can withstand the highest output pressure achieved, and ensure the cleanliness and normal working conditions of the driving air system.
8. The air inlet must be connected with a pipe with a smooth inner wall of at least 1/2" inner diameter.
9. The muffler of the diaphragm pump must be checked regularly, and the noise during operation is strictly prohibited to exceed 85 decibels.
10. Ensure that all operators are familiar with the operation and use of the pump and master the instructions for safe use of the pump.
